How to Twitter
Twitter is super simple, and super fun! It seems kind of awkward at first, but you really do get addicted fast! Here is a simple guide on how to use twitter!First you'll need an account, obviously. After you've got your account you are ready to get started on adding updates! You can post really whatever you want on twitter, like what you're doing, what you're thinking, complain about stuff, post links, and even have mini conversations with your friends! You can do this by typing in the "What are you doing?" box!
Twitter is pretty self-explanatory and gives lots of useful tips to new users. But let's go over the important functions, shall we?!
Direct Messages: These are like the "messages" feature on MySpace, basically emails! No one else can see these but you, and the person sending/receiving the direct message or "DM".
@Username: When you click this sidebar link, all the replies directly to you will appear. In order to reply directly to someone else, you will need to "@" their username, by clicking the reply arrow on their tweet!
